Mark Boddy, Technical Staff

Dr. Boddy is an internationally recognized expert in several areas of computer science research, including planning and scheduling, automated reasoning, and constraint-based reasoning. During the past twenty years he has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in journals and conference proceedings, presented tutorials on planning, scheduling, temporal reasoning and constraint-based reasoning at international conferences, and given numerous invited talks. He has served on program committees for a wide range of technical conferences, including AAAI, IJCAI, SARA, AAMAS, IAAI, UAI, ICAPS, AIPS, iSAIRAS, KRR, and the International Workshop on Planning and Scheduling for Space (IWPSS). He has served as a journal reviewer for Artificial Intelligence Journal, Computational Intelligence, IEEE Transactions on Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence, and the Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research, and as a program reviewer for NASA, the National Science Foundation, and the Air Force Office of Scientific Research. Currently, he is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research.
